Nation branding for The Islands of Tahiti, a project commisioned by Tahiti Tourism, a department of the Government of French Polynesia. The task was to find a way to transcend conventional expectations of the Tahiti tourism experience by telling a deeper story relating to the richness and diversity of the unique Polynesian people
and their culture. Employing visuals cues of the ancient art of tattoo combined with the more recent Tifaifai tapestry traditions, a unique and elegant graphic solution presented itself.
